PHP serialized editor, WordPress functions and JavaScript frameworks for Gutenberg – development links round-up #10
What’s up, everybody? Welcome back to another round-up of development resources!
A visual editor for PHP serialized data
From the fine folks at Delicious Brains, here’s a tool to visually edit PHP arrays or objects that have been serialized, by analyzing them as if they were JSON objects. Neat!
WordPress Functions List
Regularly updated, “this is a list of all WordPress functions in version 4.8.1 along with the data of when they were first introduced and if they are deprecated or not”.
Choosing the JavaScript framework for project Gutenberg
This is by far the hottest topic of the week. As you might have read, project Gutenberg, the renewed editor in WordPress, will be switching away from using React due to patent issues. Now the discussion that’ll lead to the selection of a new framework upon which to implement the project is open again. Join in, and say yours!
That’s it for this week. For your weekly dose of nerdy links, check back next monday. If you’re into some more design-related resources, mark the date, as friday is the date for our next round-up! See ya!
