CSS Grid, image color extraction and a free icon set – Design round up #9

by The Evolve team in Design, Links & resources

Hi and welcome to our design resources roundup for this week!

Breaking the Grid Two ways to break CSS Grid and how to fix it

Since CSS Grid is increasingly used, the first link of this roundup is a really interesting article on some issues that you may encounter when using CSS Grid and how to fix them.

Alembic

With just a couple of clicks you’ll be able to extract a color palette from any layer that contains bitmap data and create amazing combinations. Alembic works for both images and layers with a Pattern fill.

Travel icon set

The last link of this roundup is a beautiful icon set of travel symbols. Since this icon set is also available as svg icons can be easily integrated in Brix to be used in your theme.

That’s it for this week; come back next friday for more design links, or check back on monday for another development roundup!
